Harbor firefighter dies in the line of duty

It's been a tragic day in Jefferson County, where a 26-year old Firefighter was killed while trying to put out silo fire. Our Katie Gibas joins us from Hounsfield with more.

A member of the Sackets Harbor Fire Department has been killed in the line of duty, according to a press release from the Office of Fire & Emergency Management. A silo exploded in Sackets Harbor Sunday morning.

Harrisburgh PA

Well I work 3-11 tonight ,then getting up at 4am to work 7am to7pm..Then heading to get my older brother for the 4 hour drive to PA. To go to the Fire EXPO......
It will be a long drive a long day but will be worth it....Hope to see some people from here there..I will take lots of pics for everyone.. Have to be back Sunday to take EVOC class for the sec,third fourth time.. Worth it in the end......Will take pics of class to post...

Ohhhh I know I am opening a huge can of worms,but thats me...

Why all these young girls pics have to be about the eyes or the boobs.. Come on girls where are the I have been in the firedept for 10 years and here is a pic of me fighting fire ,or in my turnout gear....

Makes me wonder really in a dept or looking to get how many guys to invite me to be a friend....

I am from a small fire dept and well our equipment is old we keep it up .. We have the biggest engine in the county,but it's one of the oldest in the county...
