Why I Joined Fire/EMS

there r alot of people that has tried to get me to join the department in the past. i guess it wasn't my time. . on jan.the 7 of this year i lost my sister. it was very unexpected. when she passed away my mind started to wonder. i never questioned the lord but i couldn't understand why someone so dear to my heart had been taken away from me. it was not long after that my cousins trailer caught on fire. while i was helping her i went by the to visit my sisters grave and to talk to her about things when all of a sudden it hit me. i am here to help people in there time of need. what better way to help someone. that same day i went by the fire department in the town i live in. i talked to them about joining the department. i was told that it wasn't going to be easy but if i have learned anything in life it is that life is not easy. i am ready for the challenge.
