Monday Night February 11, 2008. Firefighter James Arthur of the Coldwater Volunteer Fire Department Cabarrus County Concord NC. While responding to an emergency call James lost his life. James was a dedicated member of the Coldwater Fire Department along with his father Woody Arthur who is also the Assistant Chief of The Cabarrus County Rescue Squad.

He is a great friend and musician as well. He and I and my son get totgether and jam a little bit. Just been so busy lately that I haven't been able to get anywhere much. Yeah I had my FF III when it first came out. Ages ago. Been doing this now for 33 years. Too long to quit, and too hard headed not to. Tell Marshal I said hello. I think a lot of him. My dad was asst. fire marshal for our county for years until he retired and then he went to work for the city of monroe for several more years, so our whole family has been in firefighting that is what my 18 year old son wants to do for a living. He is in fire certi. classes now. When I got cert. it was still ff3. Do you ever get to union Co?
