Monday Night February 11, 2008. Firefighter James Arthur of the Coldwater Volunteer Fire Department Cabarrus County Concord NC. While responding to an emergency call James lost his life. James was a dedicated member of the Coldwater Fire Department along with his father Woody Arthur who is also the Assistant Chief of The Cabarrus County Rescue Squad.

My dad was asst. fire marshal for our county for years until he retired and then he went to work for the city of monroe for several more years, so our whole family has been in firefighting that is what my 18 year old son wants to do for a living.
