Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I marriad a firefighter !
And you all know when you marry a Firefighter you marry the whole fire department and all the stuff that goes with it. And when he took over as Fire Chief I became his secretary and the Chief Secretary for the whole fire department which means I take care of all the stuff he can't do during the day while he's at work.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: seeing my husband in his fire gear as he's walking out the door to go to a fire or when he's returning back from a fire .

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Not being able to get the youth involved , they are the future!

Is there any firefighters , ems or first responders out there that are involved in Cubscout or Boyscouts ?

I have been involved with Cubscouts for 11 years now and Boyscouts for 5 years. I am the Assisant Cubmaster, Webelos 2 den leader, Bear den leader and the Pack Secretary with Cubscouts Pack 501 and with Troop 501 Boyscouts I'm a Committee Member. I would like to like to someday get these scouts involed with the fire department. I have my hubby & Chief of the Stewart County…
