- About Me:
- Hi im Adam, 21, 4th generation firemen(as far as i know only 4th). when i was an explorer, i use to ride my bicycle to calls even long distant ones. people ask "howd u get here ur bike?, u got here quick!" fire gear and all on a bicycle and not be to far behind fire apparatus on scene. Im a second yr Lieutenant for the South Minden FD which just celebrated its 45th yr anniversary. Ive also had runner up for firemen of the yr past 2 yrs and this yr was close, 1 vote to Duane Rockwell, our chief. Maybe next yr, keep my hopes set high and do my best. I love what i do and continue to look for more training to get better at the fire service. we have a good group of guys and gals on the roster in our dept, friendly and helpful. all in all i love to bowl, have fun, ride snowmobile and try to be successful in life.

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- i joined to serve our community and the safety of the people within. our dept just gathered 45 yrs of service and got to thank Sherman Rockwell, Clifford Cook and others who started this small dept back in 1964. also i joined cause its a family trait. as far as i know there is four generations in fire service(my great grandfather,grandfather,mom/dad and myself)(also my sister is now one of our explorers) along with many other older family members who have been involved. i follow the foot steps of many family members in this dept as well as other depts. i love being in the fire service and providing care to people in need.

- small area limited amount of personal in dept but have awesome mutual aid companies nearby if needed
