About Me:

Started as a volunteer because I was bored and looking for something to do... ended up getting hooked.... went to school while I volunteered for a couple departments and now as of January 2007 I'm a full-time paid firefighter.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My friend and I were bored and a nearby volunteer department had a recruiting sign out front... it took all of a week for the two of us to get hooked. Three years later, we're both full-time paid firefighters.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

a good working structure fire. Rolling first-in to a structure with smoke showing is a rush unlike any other.
