I'm 20, and am currently attending IVCC to receive my AA in Marketing. I'm planning on changing my life this coming up November 11th..soon to be updated! Everyone wish me luck - hopefully my knee doesn't hurt too bad afterwards.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I wanted to give back to my community, and the best way I felt to do that was to join my towns' volunteer fire department. My father was also a firefighter for 18 years and then felt that he was too old to keep doing the job, so as his son, I am currently taking his place in the team.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I can put all my training outside of the fire department, to work to help the public when in need.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Making sure that you get there in time in the middle of the night-calls. Also, making sure that I have enough gas in my car, shoes are in the right spot, and my keys are where I can find them. I really don't want to be the one left at the station making the coffee for the 3AM calls.
