About Me:

My names Michael Parnell im with North Catawba Fire and Rescue. Ive been there for 3 1/2 yrs. and workin for 1 1/2 yrs of that. I love the fire department and hanging out with all the guys shooting the crap. I have a wife and 2 kids and they mean the world to me. I have a girl who is 3 and a boy who is 1. I love playing video games, deep sea fishing, and just hanging out.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I rode with my uncle at Charlotte Fire Department one time when I was younger and to see the faces on the family after they got the piece of food out of that infant was just great. From then on I was hooked I just want to help people in their time of need.

Nothing beats the smile on peoples faces when you have helped them in some way during their stressful time
