I became a part of emergency services partly because I was involved with the fire service my whole life, through my father.
I became interested in fire photography at a young age, and started shooting when I got my first digital camera in 2004.

My friend Stephen Walsh has created a DVD in memory of two Boston Firefighters who were killed in the line of duty last year. Paul Cahill and Warren Payne both perished on August 29, 2007 at the Tai Ho Resturant on Centre Street.
