About Me:
I am a single parent of two girls who are trying to make me gray by becoming teenagers! I love animals of all kinds, live in small town USA, know everyone on the department like family and that's how we all treat each other. It's awesome. I love motorcycles, NHRA or IHRA drag racing, coaching my girls in softball, the great outdoors, taking the dogs for a walk or the horse, and lets not forget good ole rock n roll of the heavy variety!!
Relationship Status:
Divorced

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Mainly to be able to wear the sexy bunker gear! Just kidding. There is no way to describe the feeling of being able to help someone in their most dire times. It took me 30 yrs to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, but now that I finally have, I wouldn't change a thing.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The feeling is inexplainable of being able to help someone in their most dire times. There is nothing else like it in the world.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
safety while running hot to a call. most people don't know, or if they do, they don't care to obey the laws of moving over for emergency vehicles that are approaching with lights and sirens on. In my 8 yrs. of ems/fire service I personally have seen 5 accidents involving ambulance's and motorists that were not paying attention. Luckily noone was severly hurt in these accidents, however they could have been prevented or avoided if only people would pay attention.

No, I'm not on any department right now. I am just going for my associate's. I am hoping to get onto a department after I graduate, though.
