Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the volunteer service after a terrible car accident and my grandfather was a Bat Chief with Pensacola City fire department for a number of years and I remember going to firehouse with him and seein the truck and thought what an awesome job, I later found joy in 911 dispatch and have been working for Escambia county for the past 8 years as a 911 operator fire/ems dispatcher.
