Firefighters may be able to take the heat, but EMT's can legally take your clothes off!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
It's in my blood, and EMS is something I can see myself doing for the rest of my life.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It seems to be what is right for me.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
People in it for a status and glory. Those seem to be the people who belittle everyone around them.

A little about myself, as a person, not a responder.

I am 21. I am single, and loving it. Not sure if I want to give up my dreams in EMS/Fire for a family. I love music. Mostly angry chick music, and metal. I can be called goth, or punk... but I rather be called MadysoNicole. You will never meet someone as crazy-awesome as me, ask anyone who knows me. I wear my emotions on my sleeve, and nothing in my life is a secret. I kind of believe in God, mostly because I haven't found faith anywhere else in my life. Forgiveness is my biggest downfall, I tend to forgive then constantly get screwed over.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I will try to get you a list of the local departments. It's been about 12 years since I lived near the base and there are probably about 10 different fire companies in the surrounding neighborhoods. Some of them might have switched to some part time paid. I'm trying to get in touch with a friend who might know a little better than I.

I'll do some digging around. most of the Fire Companies are probably Volunteer around Willow Grove. Some of the Ambulances probably have paid crews. I'll see what I can scare up for you.
