Top Issues Facing Responders:
My pet peeve would be the theory of trying to amalgamate the Fire Service with Political entities, its a concept that has boggled the minds of most of us due to the fact that for the political aspect its a matter of dollars and cents and a great lack of common sense, they try and enforce numerical bottom lines where the primary concern should be emphasized upon the overall training, staffing, equipping and maintaining of all standards of the afore mentioned, you cant put a dollar figure on a human life, and to try and justify cutbacks with the amounts of job related illnesses, injuries and LODDs is totally ludicris...when a politician tells me hes got my back to get his vote, Ide really like to see him back it up by backing ME UP! "Here Bub....suit up....we gotta a job!" Get the feeling Im not really too tickled with most municipal, provincial, state and Federal governments and their policies? Dont say I didnt warn ya!

border is not in our work is to save lives regardless of color, religion or social position, much less. The important thing in our work does not need language to communicate, or borders to help.
