About Me:

Im from Detroit Mi. but buy the grace of the Marine Corps I found Jacksonville NC. and never left. Im divorced but in a relationship with a wonderful woman who is a paramedic. I have 3 sons she haves a son and daughter. We have 2 grandsons and 2 grand daughters. I cannot forget our dogs Issac who is a Bull Mastif, Nipper who is a Jack Russel, and Carmen who is MinPin.

Nobody joines this field, this field is a calling. Whether your Fire or EMS or both, all who wears the uniform of an emergency responder is called to this field.

Its the only field that makes you feel full and alive and challenges your very being.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

We didnt become what we are to get rich, but we deserve a decent wage. For those of us who lives in a right to work state, our issue is bargaining rights, 20 or 25 year retirement, retired personnel health and medical insurance. Training issues so that what happen in Charleston SC will never happen again.
