Hey There! I hope that things are going well for you. I haven't been on the site much as of late. Lot's of studying for my EMT class. Only 2 weeks left. We have our "hands on" final on the 12th and our written final on the 17th. Man this has been a long class!
Believe it.... we haven't even had a call... that I could use it on yet... impressed with the construction... is there a recommended clasp for the smaller one for a helmet mount.
Well thank you... I have forwarded my address to your email address.. We will give it a try and see how it works under FIRE.... LOL... again Thank YOU.. Tom
I work for the American Heart Association. I have a lot of connections through local FD's in fact a lot of the put together walk teams and participate in our Heart Walk that takes place each April. And yes, we are a 501c3. We have a large amount of people that attend our event that are FD, PD and are in the Service. My Email is jbulischeck@westmorelandfire.org if you would like to further discuss this off line so to speak.
So, how can you and I work together on some things? Do you have % of the market in upstate New York? One of the markets that I represent is Syracuse and Watertown. Watertown, is home to the Fort Drum which is the home of the 10th Mountain Division.
No worries, you didn't come off sounding like a salesperson. Interesting concept though. What type of events does your company look to sponsor? Just FD events or other community or health related causes? and What ROI does your company look for doing this? To give you an example of some the fund raising events that I have been apart of include Fund Drives, Community Days, Raffles and so on they tend to make up the typical of the FD ways of raising money. I also helped and put on large Walks/Runs that draws thousands of people and raises six figures for organizations. In my experience rural departments can actually do a lot, however, they just tend to focus on activities that are very labor intensive and provided little monetary return for the amount of man hours put in.
Quick and easy ones that offer high monetary return and very little man hours, 3 on 3 BBall tourneys, that can also be used as an expo for various other agencies, FD, PD, Ambulance Services things like that.
Yes, we do, do some fund raisers for our department. Some of which are more successful than others. Plus for my day job I am a professional Fundraiser. I would be happy to help you out and guide you in directions of fund development if you want. Even if it to bounce ideas off of me. Is your Dept. looking to do something specific?
