Glad to hear that the department is growing and doing well. Tell John Cook, i say hello. His nickname then was "Cookie Monster" from Sesame street. I Jerry Iuchs was on when a was. I was in the Air Force at Whiteman, then got out and got a job with Boeing. I was on the Knob Noster FD, then the LaMonte FD, then made it to Pettis County. Are you guys still running lights and siren on POV's, that was always exciting, but here in Utah that is a no-no. All is done with a local fire dept. in a FD vehicle. Your at station 5 huh. Was there a Leo Shuartz out of that station. We have some real good friends there that live in Smithton, she works at Bothwell hospital and he has a book route that delivers magazines to businesses. take care, again tell "Cookie Monster" i say hello. I have a 1929 La France Fire engine i have restored, pictures if you are intersted. have a nice day....
Hello there Gary. how are things in Sedalia. i lived there in Missouri for 15 years. I was on the Pettis County fire Department for approx 7-8 years. All the folks that i was on with are probably moved on. I was a hazmat tech with the Sedalia/Pettis county team. I am now living here in Utah as the job that i had transfered me here. I work part time on the department that i am on, payed. I was also the captain for station 2. so how are things there?
