my first fire happen the day after i took my ff1 test and burn house test i got home late so i didnt take my stuff back to the dept so it was in my car next day i went to school and i got out early for work so i was heading home and my pager was set on scan i herd the dept get toned for a church fire in down town i thought it isnt going to be anything then i looked in my rear view mirror and saw a plum of smoke in the air i got turned around and then we got toned to it i was the first firefighter on the call i had my gear on and packed up waiting on the first towns truck to get there two min later they showed up after my dept we worked on it and we got it out in like 10 mins we moped it up and fond out it was started by wires. it was a nice and hot fire did a little bit of damage not a lot so that was good. one week later and 1 hour after the first fire we got toned to the church again i was on the first truck in and itwas fully on fire we had the county on that fire that started by the workers total lose

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

When i was little my nieghbor Mike was a firefighter and he became a dad to me and i always went to the fire dept and help to clean up after a fire so one day i said i wanted to be a firefighter like Mike and i am a volly right now and going to school for my 240 to become a paid guy i love it
