Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I grew up in the fire service...my dad was a firefighter. I tried to do other things out of college, but I came back to what I knew and felt in my heart.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
we get to make bad situations better.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
In our department....ADEQUATE STAFFING. STAFFING STAFFING STAFFING.
I'd love to be doing that! Except I have to stay off my feet for 2 weeks and it would be awfully difficult to get around when I have to recycle the beer!
I'm having foot surgery. I have bone spurs in the first joint of both big toes. I'll be off for about a month. Glad to hear you're doing well now. I made it through my latest back injury with physical therapy so I was lucky.
I posted the picture of the 14,000 sq ft $3,000,000 arson fire that ELF (Earth Liberation Front) took responsibility for based on the bedsheet that was hanging on the locked front gate stated. Somewhere I have a photo of the bedsheet and what it said, I wil post it when I find it. It is the picture of the fully involved two story home with all the windows.
Yeah, I bet it's been hot there. Hot here too, but not like there. It has been in the 80's, nice....days relaxing in the pool. The FD has been crazy quiet, just waiting for hell to break loose.
that would be great west virginia is full of mountains wild life deer birds turkeys squirels and so on from the top of the mountains or down in the valley's the view is just breath taking from sun rise to sun set much like where you live L8R tc/ss
