I'm fairly new to the Department but feel like a family member already. I wish I had done this years ago but family (children) came first. They are old enough now and are very proud of me. My son is in the same department as was my daughter until she moved away.

To serve the community I live in, to help others, the training and the adrenaline rush....the excitement and the comraderie....

it just feels so right for me! As if it was my calling!
