I passed it, but i was only doing it then for a job with jackson county fire department at the time. I ended up turning down the job because i moved, but i plan on going through some real training and going to the state academy at some point in life. I am trying to get my emt-b for now. but it was a great experience for me and i am really glad that i stuck it through all the way. Although it took me 2 tries. The first time i got all the way to the dummy drag and had like 6 more feet to drag it and i would have gone on to the last event, but they advised me to stop because i was getting dehydrated fast...but they let me do it again and i finished...I did something that no one really thought i could do (that is the kicker for me lol)
Thanks for the comment and the welcome. Its a 65 Seagrave 100' tiller, with a 6v71 detroit. It belongs to a fallen firefighter memorial group that I belong to. Feel free to check out our site, www.macboston.com we also have a 69 Seagrave 75' stick, and a 1940ish American LaFrance(not exactly sure of the age we just got it last fall and pretty much just put in storage for the winter). Thanx for the comment and be safe!
