Hey Guys-

So I am not THAT self centered... Being and engine guy myself I need those truckies more than anybody or I will fry, However after seeing the "Cancel the Engine" group, I thought a similarly witty group was needed for the guys that go in hot and leave 'em wet.

Feel free to leave anything here Engine Company related: training, SOPs, stories, pics etc. Be proud that you carry a big hose.

"Firemen are selected for their different roles when they're still in the academy. The doctor comes in with a stethoscope and he checks out the probies heartbeat, and if it's strong, a real thump-thump-thump, then you go to the engine. But if it's fainter, something of a pitter-patter, then it's to the truck."  RJP

Truckers go to Medal Day and the Engine goes to the Burn Center

My instructor and I had a engine vs truck company argument going on during my FF1. All fun and games though, lol.

Hey guys, I thought Id pop in and say hi. I also am an Engine guy, I think there is more variety of calls on an engine or at least on a regular basis. Im sure the Truckies would disagree though;{ I would also like to invite you all to check out a new site I started called www.BrotherhoodFirst.com its a free classified ad site specifically for FFs. Im encouraging as many FFs from as many places to join and create a post. Its free its fast. I would also appreciate any feedback. Thanks. Stay safe.

I am a Ladder guy by nature and by desire but I am often detailed to the Engine. I just popped in to learn more about the Engine side of the game.
