Your Firefighter Nation for Firefighting EMS and Rescue Box
Calvary fire department serves western Brantley County Georgia between Waycross and Hoboken.
We are one of seven all volunteer departments in Brantley County.
We offer fire suppression, light rescue and emergency medical responders to our community and surrounding jurisdictions.
We support twenty five active members and seven reserve members.
The largest wildfire in Georgia history started five miles to our west, burned east then south into the Okefenokee Swamp, all within sight of our station. It was two weeks of hard fighting. I want to thank all of those that responded from all over our nation to lend help in our time of need. I never felt so proud in what we do.
The department maintains two 1989 Mack CF Class A pumpers, A 1983 Mack/KME 5000 gallon tanker and a 2005 Ford 550 Rescue/Brush Fast Attack truck.
