Why I Joined Fire/EMS
when i was 15 years old my girlfriend Tammy had a motor vehicle accident and was in a coma from April 4, 1989 to Jan. 30, 1990 when she died and i told her i would never drink n drive or any of that and i was going into the Emergency Services for her. i just got certified a UT EMT-B.

a little a bout me

i thought i'd tell a little about myself, i am 33/m/MS. ive been a firefighter/EMR/EMT(now) for 18 years. when i was 15 my girlfriend Tammy on Apr. 4, 1989 was out riding with some friends when the driver lost control of the car, Tammy was riding in the passanger seat and NOT wearing her seatbelt, she hit the windshield and was airlifted to the Medical Center. Tammy was in a coma from that day and had serveral surgeries to relieve swelling on her brain. On Jan. 30, 1990 Tammy died as a result… Continue
