Father did it so I wanted to see what it was like, it didn't take long before I was hooked!!

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Keeping up with the on going changes in the fires we fight. They are not the same fires my father fought and these ones will not be the same ones the next generation fights. In my area we do not have alot of fires, this is due to better codes. However because of these codes our fires burn differently than years ago. Codes are the best thing for the fire service, I would never deny that. I just think we need to keep learning the on going changes it has with our fires, the few that we have. One of the main problems is that by not seeing as many fires we do not get the expeirence we need.
