About Me:: I am currently applying for the Lubbock Fire Department. I am in the gym religiously and love my time there. I have a daughter who just turned 10 (feel my heart break!!). She is a mini-me. Attitude, perseverence, heart and all! I have the best support system I could ever ask for in my family and friends.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: i am passionate about EMS and fire. i love the challenges of the career. i love that we do not have a 9-5 office job and that we can get out and see the things we see and do the things we do. i believe that Fire and EMS professionals are people of their own class. we are a group who understand each other and have an unspoken bond when the rest of the world can't fathom having our job!
