When I joined my first fire department, I worked full time, and went to college full time. I also though found time to take as many training courses as I could. Glad I did, now that I am married, have a family of my own, and my work schedule, it would be very hard for me to take training courses. Basic Firefighter, Intermediate Firefighter, HAZMAT Operations, Fire Police , Intro to Fire Officer, Firefighter Survival, EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations), Fire Behavior and Arson Awareness, Incident Safety Officer, Firefighter Assist and Search Team, Truck Company Operations- Forcible Entry, and Preparations for Initial Company Operations.
About Me:
I am 27 years old, and I joined the fire service in September of 2002, in my Hometown. I relocated to Central New York due to a job change. However due to my work schedule I was unable to join a department there. I then met my now wife, and then I relocated again to the Rochester, New York area. There I found a department, that would take me as a transfer, so I joined.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I love helping others when they are in need. Protecting those in the community, along with the possessions. Also I always have wanted to be a firefighter, especially a NYC Firefighter.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The addrenalin you get when the pager tones drop. Know you are always helping those in need.
