hey there bro, wow that sounds weird lol but you guys are used to it. Here in Arizona a majority of the departments use the 24 on 48 off, thats called the ABC straight, others use ABC kelly which is 24 on. 24 off, 24 on, 24 off, 24 on then 4 days off. as for coming on down here, everywhere is different, almost like night and day. Here in Az a lot of the major cities are in a bind and wont be hiring til at least 2010-12 because of the economy. Also Most of them send the recruits to a 12 week academy then your on a year probation. i guess it just depends on where you want to go in the US.
