HOW DO YOU COPE WITH THE STRAINS OF BEING A FIRST RESPONDER??

Pressure – almost every job has it, some more and some less. Perhaps one requires scaling new high-rise buildings or repairing the blades of a turbine windmill. Maybe another requires dropping hundreds or thousands of feet below ground level on in the sea. However, few have the every-single-day pressure that First Responders face. And as most of us learned in a high school science class, too much pressure will often lead to dire consequences! Those pressures include poor sleep, overtime, money issues, family issues, etc.

Our upcoming webinar on January 23rd at 6:30 PM ET is titled, “Thrive on Duty: Optimize Your Sleep and Stress!” These are but two of the most common stressors we deal with, but they can be your starting point to rediscover the real “you” and taking charge of your life once again! Our presenters are Chief (ret) Arjuna George, author of “Burnt Around the Edges,” and creator/host of the “Beneath the Helmet” podcast. He will share his personal story of burnout, physical ailments and physical/emotional exhaustion and his recovery to be the thriving person he is today.

Also presenting is Andi Clark. Andi has 30+ years of experience in the health and wellness industry. However, when her husband, who is a very busy police officer, was dealing with his own overtime, sleep deprivation and other issues which in turn affected the family dynamic, Andi went back to school to become a certified coach for sleep deprivation, stress and resilience.
