Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Joined because I like helping others. We are very busy Volunteer department. We average 2000+ fire and medical calls per year. We have 2 firehouses, 94 active members. I also work PT for AMR( American Medical Response) EMT. check out our unofficial fire department site at www.watertownfd.com

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Love helping people, thats why I decide to go back to colleg to become a RN.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Language barriers within a city. Hard to help people when they only speak spanish. Also most people within the city don't know how to pull to the right when they hear sirens.
