My Training:

After 3 yrs on the job and experiencing Hurricane Katrina, I started a few rescue classes and got them done and made it to the Flying Squad, our heavy rescue unit, vehicle extrication, rope rescue, and any working fire and whatever else comes along.

Me, let's see, Adrenaline junkie I guess, nothing feels better than going in to that black black smoke and feeling that heat and then finding the fire and knocking it out. I have 5 yrs on the NOFD, couldn't imagine doing anything else now. I followed in dads footsteps, he just made 31 yrs on and I now know what he's seen and gone thru while i was growing up. Well whatever else you want to know just ask.
