Why I Joined Fire/EMS
to make a difference, its in now in my blood, I live, breath the brotherhood!!! Being in the Fire dept is was defines me!!!

safety, recently my colleagues were gang raped attending to a 2 year old burns patient. My team mate and fellow FF was shot dead by her husband, spouse abuse involving female FF is on the rise

please join our Team Zodwa Face book page, we are from South Africa and employed full time as fire fighters/EMT's and ALS Paramedic, climbing the 7 summits for charity. Team Zodwa Fire & Ice 7 summits challenge - 1 million metres of extreme mountain terrain - 1 million children - feeding 1 child - 1 metre - 1 step at a time. we are looking to have more than 1000 members by december before our next climb in Oz. in our area we have cold winter weather and this is actually what most pilots prefer,

Im sorry to hear that helo service is not good in your area as they are a vital resource in saving lives.
