Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My daughter died in a vehicle accident. I was not there when it happened, but swore that I would do my best to never let it happen to another family.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love the feeling of knowing that I have helped out someone that is in need.

Hey brother,
Saw your post and wanted to reach out. I too lost a child, he was 2 days from his 2nd bday. Its still deep inside and hurts bad. On top of that I saw 3 fire fatalities at 2 fires, including a 21 year old holding an 8 year old girl...that was rough. Give me a shout if you need to talk, I have similar experiences and I am on meds too for PTSD and Anxiety.
