About Me:
I have been in the fire service my whole life. My father has been on Augusta for 32 years. So ever since I can remember the fire department was part of my family. The brotherhood of firefighters! Many of those guys practically raised me. They would teach me how to fight fire at a very young age. So in after high school I began at Burke County. I spent 6 years growing in knowledge and maturity while their I learned many new things. In 2000, I joined MCFR. In 2002, I earned my NREMT-P. In 2004, I earned my Associate's Degree. In 2006, I was promoted to lieutentant. And finally in 2007, I was promoted to captain. I have taught fire science classes at West Georgia Tech since 2004. I am also a fire academy instructor in many different courses. As the years go on, I hope I can continue to grow and build the knowledge that I can give back to the next generations of firefighters.

Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Top Issues Facing Responders:
Firefighter complacency! We do not always train as though we doing the real job. We forget very little important aspects that can jeopardize our safety as well as others when we are placed in a life or death situation.
