I joined my local volunteer fire department when I was a teenager because I wanted to make a difference for my community. For years I talked about the fire department and when I was old enough to join I did so.

I guess things are going ok here, they seemed a lot better when I first started, though. That's why I'm trying to get on somewhere else. Not to the point that I want to leave here all together yet, but I want to work somewhere where they give a crap about the people that work for them.
