About Me:

I am 38 years old, and the youngest of four. I was born in Tokyo Japan both of my parents made the U.S. Air Force their career, after my father’s retirement we moved to the Augusta area. I started as a Volunteer Firefighter with the Grovetown Volunteer Fire Department. I then wet to work for Fort Gordon. After two years I was hired by the Martinez Fire Department and worked there until just after Sept. 11 2001. It was at that time I knew that I wanted to do something to give back to the troops, so I came back to work for the Fort Gordon Fire Department. I met Kathy 20 years ago when she worked for University Ambulance Service and Columbia County, and was stationed out of our Fire House. It just took 14 years for us to find each other and get married. We have one dog,( Sparky) and four cats. (Rusty, Ashley, Pecker, and Piglet) I am a third generation firefighter. The Alpha Fire Company in State Collage Pennsylvania holds a very special place in my hart

I am a third generation firefighter; there is over 100 years of experience on my Fathers’ side of the family: So I guess it is in my blood., I enjoy helping other people especially when they are in a time of need
