Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Wanted to make a difference in a world that is falling apart. Another reason was giving back, When it seems we as a race seem to think of ourselves, and get in the mind set, what is in it for me. Just didn't want to become of the world. I want to be that difference.

the brigade that I'm a volunteer with generally only gets called out to rural incidents and the occasional vehicle accident but last night was the hottest new years on record and things look hot around the state for the next few days so it looks like we will get busy in a hurrry. stay safe and well and have a great new year

Welcome back to work. I hope your time off was restful. Things are good here. I just put a new water tender in service this morning and I'm doing all those unlimited last minute things before I head back east to the National Fire Academy for a week.
