- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- When I was a young child, my father had a malignant brain tumor. So I saw the Paramedics all the time at my house. There was this one paramedic in particular that I will never forget. He was always so nice to us kids and he would sit down and talk with us and give us cool bandaids. I will never forget this and I want to give back to the community just like he gave to me and my siblings when we needed it most.
I started in Washington taking my Emt-B and have since done firefighting as well. I finally decided to move back home to further my education and become a Paramedic. I am going through school right now. I love what I do!
