Fund Raiser Ideas

Here We can put ideas that we have for different fund raisers. We all need them and it is a good idea to see what new ones we can do with the help of other members

Is anyone out there looking to adopt a department? Do you get new equipment often and need to find a good home for your used equipment (trucks, air tanks, bunker gear, etc.) to either give away or sell cheap?

Well this year we have a few things going on, we are doing two coin drops, the annule picnic, turkey raffle, breakfast with santa, and the fair. We just had a volleyball game with the teachers at the local elementry school. but we are always looking for more since we quit doing bingo. ( anyone want a bingo machine and equiptment???)

have everyone at the event put money in a helmet then auction the money off noone knows how much they get and its a lot of fun u can always pass it around 2 or 3 times and alot of times the person that buys it will donate it back

We are going to do the quarter auction in may and for july we are going to try the scratch off board .(www.abcfundraising.com ) This is the first we are going to try these 2 new fund raisers. I will let you know how they do.

Fund Raiser Ideas:

1. Put together first aid kits and sell them at a profit. The ones you buy from the store are minimal and only good for minor cuts. Couple this with CERT training and you get both trained people with the right tools to do things.
2. Pancake breakfast with static display of equipment and apparatus. We've done this successfully for years, incorporating a poster contest for fire safety and a raffle with donated items.
