Patrick,

The reason for no responses to Beverly's request is that this group is not a wilderness SAR group. This group is for firefighters who are interested in searching large burning buildings. I don't think the dog would work out in the interior structural firefighting environment. Thank you for the interest, though.

I might be able to help...all my dogs are wilderness SAR/cadaver/water recovery and trained to air scent.

H, I'm looking for a little information...I want to start a wildland SAR in our area, we only have USAR. I'm unable to find anyone who can help without having to go halfway across the country for training. I have a malamute pup that I am starting to train on my own for search as I really cannot find anyone in our area who trains for air scenting rather than ground scent tracking.
Anyone who could give me some pointers would be greatly appreciated.
