training
What kind of training or drills is everybody doing? Does anybody have any good resouces or powerpoint pres. on this. I'm trying to bring some new training to my dept on this and was wondering if anybody had any teaching tips or advice that they could share? Thanks for the help

We just finished a Wide Area Search Course two weeks ago. It was very interesting. We went over, the new search definitions, FEMA is adopting for USAR teams. We also tested a new GPS unit. It was called GISTEQ. You turn it on, that is it. You carry it with you as you take documentation pictures. Download the GPS coordinates and pictures to your computer. The unit's software syncs the pictures, GPS data and produces a Google Map. It was pretty cool.
