There is a recall, out on some of the Cruise control set ups, I dontknow how extensive IT is I suspectif you won a newer Model and havent recieved a recal notice Then your not affected, I Do know I received a notice That Involves My 1995 XLT Bronco.. orginally the notice was stop into your dealer and theywill disconnect the cruise control because therewas a issue with potential for it causing a fire.. Mine had been disconnected in 1999 prior to the recall going mainstream when I had a new engine dropped in By Ford...within the last two years a fix notice has been sent out and anyone with these issues cansetup an appointment to have componants replaced that will safely allow use of the cruise control. As I said If you own a 95 or 96 I would definately look into itand newer up to 2000 - 01 Just to be sure,BUt the best thing to do is call andas a ford service who can look up all the recall years issues :)
Iam getting ready to begin doing some fairly extensive work on refurbing my 95, rust/panel repair new 'refreshed" interior suspention upgrade 4 inch lift and 3 inchbody lift, go upto 33's shoot the paint and have a fun vehicle again , I figure dumping a few g's is better then a new morgage ..lol

We have a F350 4x4 Island Blue Ford Pick up. 2001
I have a Ford ranger XL 1996 short box.
He has a Ford Probe GT 1995

hey everybody, just got back in from the nc wildfires and proudly done my deptment good. we where on the front line of the fire, what they called the whiskey side feel free to check out pics... as of today it is 60% contained...lsfd739 out
