Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Always wanted to be a firefighter as a kid and had the opportunity to join a volunteer dept and I fell in love. I love being able to help, help in any way possible, from helping out with the local fireworks show on the 4th of July to the biggest call to work at the station, on the front lines or behind the scenes. The biggest reward is knowing a job well done and every comes home the same way we left, "ALIVE AND SAFE" and the thanks the cards from landowners
