Eagle scout

I was a scout"way back in the day" and earned my Arrow of light as a Webalo, then in Boy Scouts with Troop 106 in Murfreesboro ,Tn I earned my Scouting ranks up to Life Scout,then I "got the fumes"and never followed the trail on to get my Eagle .
When I was asked to help out as an Asssistant Scout leader back in the Mid 80's it hit me like a bolt of lightning , YES ! I answered the call to service .
I was Scoutmaster for several years and am very proud of 6 young men I had the privlidge to mentor to Eagle :).
My son is in scouting from Tiger to Webalo,he earned his Arrow of light and has "Crossed over" to Boy Scouting with Troop 293 Where I am the newest Assistant Scoutmaster .
As a Paramedic Firefighter I have been registerd as a Merit Badge Councilor for Safety, First Aide , Emergency Prepardness and Fire Safety MB's for years as part of my service to Middle Tennessee Council .

Was a cub scout and boy scout myself. Got my son into scouting as well, but interests waned and there were other things going on. I value all of what I learned in my years as a scout and leader. It's a program I wholly support. In SC, the Explorers program also puts kids through a junior firefighter camp, where they can attend the fire academy (but aren't really "certified" to fight fire.)
I support looking to the future, keeping young people interested in public service, in the "dirty" jobs.

I am currently an assisstant scoutleader for the Boy scouts and I am also an Eagle Scout. I am currently a Paramedic for North Memorial Ambulance Service and a Volunteer Firefighter for a small town.

I started as a tiger cub and worked all the way through cub scouts to weblows and crossed over to the boy scouts and earned the rank of eagle. I now help with the local troop as a leader and also teach some merit bagdes that are medical in nature.
