Ladder 49 of course. Backdraft was a great movie but Ladder 49 told a better story and showed what real Firefighting Families go through on a daily bases.
I myself liked Backdraft the best. Ladder 49 was a little slow going for my taste. But as all here are saying both are real good movies. Appart from a lot of "HOLLYWOOD" moments in them. And Ron I have not heard of the FDNY: Brothers In Battle movie. Can it be rented or where do you find it?
Backdraft is an awesome movie even though it is a little far fetched in most parts. Ladder 49 is also a great movie that is more realistic. Both are #1 in my opinion, I'd rent, or better yet buy, both and get it over with.
