I was just wondering what type of Ladder Trucks do you have in your Departments.
Where I came from in New York, we had two ladder trucks. One was a 100 Ft. American
LaFrance Tiller, and the second was a 100 Ft. Mid Mount Seagrave. Just as I was leaving
the department was getting a 100 Ft. Rear mount Platform.
The Department I am with now has a 50 Ft. American LaFrance Squirt.
I will say that it is a much smaller Department I am with now, but I am hoping that
some day soon it will be replaced with a larger Ladder. It is 29 years old, and has been
a excellent truck, and still looks good for it's age.

So tell me, " Whats In Your Department "

Don't feel bad Kenny, I'm sure you have a ladder or two
on the trcuk.
We really enjoy the American LaFrance Tillers in Los Angeles and having a tiller is so uncommon nowadays, but we love 'em!
And they suit us perfectly, wether downtown or out near the beach, they are the work horses in the Dept.

Very Well said Capt, I also feel that the American LaFrance is the #1 Truck.
I'll try to get some picture of the old girl on my next shift.
Here are what out trucks look like. They are E-ONE HP 105" Towers.
Hey Cody, Thanks for sharing the picture of your truck with us.
Stay safe Brother.
PS: The truck looks great.
We have a 105' rear mount. Truck was bought used couple years ago from the Indiana, Pennsylvania fire department.

This was the truck that it replaced. Its a 1970 something 85' midmount that came from Seminole, Florida.

In my department we have 1 truck. A pierce 100 ft platform.
Thanks Will for sharing your trucks with us. They look real good.
Stay safe Brother.
