I remember in my dept Fire Marshal was a collar pin in gold and red Fire Marshal imprinted on it and a gold fire ball in the middle. There are companies that sell collar pins and badges that provide different insignias to use.
There might be something for teaching for a badge or collar pins.
I remember a company called Fast Hook that had catalogs for Fire, Police, and Oranizations uses. They sold badges, collar pins and belt buckles.
Wear whatever the dept asks you to wear.
Just because you have a title doesn't mean there has to be some special insignia for it.
For instance our Fire Prevention have the officer insignia associated with the job, (ie a capt and 3 lt's.....the Pub Ed officer is a lt)
Fire training officer is a capt position, has the bars, same thing with our EMS training officer.

In other places such a job was in title only, as a volly, we had a Fire Inspector position, but on the FD aspect, she was still a FF. She didn't have anything special for the job.

Hell, look to go easy, just have a polo as a uniform shirt saying Fire Preventionon it or something like that.
Some of the insignias that I know that have been used for administrative use.
A gavel (crossed) president (single) vice president. Single or crossed keys treasurers. Single or crossed quills secretaries.
An engineer has a apparatus singnia, property officer have a sramble singnia of fire equipment.
Fire Marshal has the fireball.
I would check different fire dept suppilers catalogs for something that would match what you are looking for.
Roberts Co. is another and I have seen others at trade shows that have collar pins on display.
Both Smith and Warren and Blackinton make a Fire Prevention collar pin. I would imagine you could order one from just about any uniform supply company that deals with Smith and Warren and/or Blackinton products
Oh trust me I wish I could just wear a polo! I'm still in BDU pants and light blue duty dress shirt. I have been taken off the line, it's a long stupid story!
The collar insignia is usually bugles(symbalic of when the bugle was used to summones Firefighters back in the 1800's in the infancy of the Fire service) 1 bugle is usually a Leiutenant or the lowest ranking officer. 2 Bugles is usully the next step up or a Captain. 3 is usually a lower ranking Chief such as a district Chief. 4 is above that Chief such as a Deputy Chief and 5 Bugles is almost always the Chief.
