"The Supreme Court gave its approval Wednesday to displaying a cross on public land to honor fallen soldiers, saying the Constitution "does not
require the eradication of all religious symbols in the public realm."

"Speaking for a divided court, Justice Anthony M. Kennedy said the 1st Amendment called for a middle-ground "policy of accommodation" toward
religious displays on public land, not a strict separation of church
and state."

I agree. Even in the past it was tacitly approved, so long as "other" religions were able to equally display. I betting that the Mojave display will now be accompanied by other such religious icons, of equal size of course.

Let's see,

Earthquakes are on the increase, volcanoes are spewing, and the Supreme Court actually issues a ruling that makes sense.... The world IS coming to an end!

Pasta be praised
Oldman,

At least as far as the earthquakes go, they are the direct result of, "An Islamic cleric's suggestion that immodestly dressed women cause earthquakes has drawn thousands to join an American student's busty bid to shake up the world — by revealing cleavage."

These have been designated "Boobquakes".

"Already, more than 1.5 million earthquakes of magnitude 2 or greater happen every year."
"McCreight's own analysis points to no evidence the "boobquake" sent additional tremors through the earth Monday."

I'm thinking that volcanoes may be related to another area of the human body. More testing needed.
Religion is insane, religious people keep proving it every day.

Say what you will but some mysterious hand just edited the title of this post!
Guess I took up too much space with the initial posting title. Ramen!
Yes, it was a little long. We don't have a way to institute a character limit but it was almost a full paragraph...please keep title only as long as needed. Thanks.
My bad...mental note for future posts.
Keep up the good work im learning stuff everyday. take care and stay safe
As a Muslim, I have no problem with the displaying of a cross on public land. Freedom of religion means just that, Freedom of religion.
But you would expect to be extended the same right to display some expression of your beliefs as well, right?
This link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salazar_v._Buono gives more information on the whole Mojave cross issue.
