Nothing that we say about the Tennesee incident is going to fix the problems in Obion County. That is a mess for the county policticans to resolve or potentially not. The fact of the matter is it is consuming the FFN website, and that is ridiculous.
Lets go back to "Hey what color is your fire truck", "explorers responding", or "leaving school" or "who is allowed to run lights and sirens in a POV".
Because nothing we say to eachother is going to correct any of the problems down there. This is just drawing a line amongst brother and sisters.

And what happened to Rescue 911?
and the number of dads who fell off their roof while trying to move into the next century - hee hee
and when you had to get up off the sofa TO GO turn the knob on the tv to change the 3 channels you had or the volume - and work tirelessly to balance the hold line
So I want to know what the big deal about Explorers responding?
Explorers are minors - aka children.
We protect children, not put them in harms way.
30, that's all - clearly you are not willing to go the extra mile - I have seen tractor trailers with more than 30 lights - so I know you could strive for more and push yourself farther - perhaps even to reach the goal of looking like a driving UFO
Allowing them to respond is putting them in harms way... well yes but if it was that dangerous insurance companies wouldnt allow us to run the programs thats a little extreme
Not true if I remember right the Explorer program goes all the way up to 20 or 21 I think...Could be wrong.
