Stop the Madness!!!

Nothing that we say about the Tennesee incident is going to fix the problems in Obion County. That is a mess for the county policticans to resolve or potentially not. The fact of the matter is it is consuming the FFN website, and that is ridiculous.

Lets go back to "Hey what color is your fire truck", "explorers responding", or "leaving school" or "who is allowed to run lights and sirens in a POV".

Because nothing we say to eachother is going to correct any of the problems down there. This is just drawing a line amongst brother and sisters.

I remember being told to hold it up and turn the rabbit ears when the weather was bad! Then pops got mad and saved up to mount this gigantic rotary attenae on the roof. Heck when it was going up I thought we were going to tap into top secret military stuff.

It was big doings to gather and sit around to watch the TV. Maybe even pop, some jiffy pop popcorn over the electric stove and share amongst the family.

Growing up in Brooklyn we ued to run speaker wire to the fire escape and use that for another antenna. Oh yea my other fac CHiPs

I used to run old wire from my dads plectron and tap it into the rotary antenna! great reception

I remember finally turning 18 so I could enter structure fires (as a Volunteer FF), and officially being eligible to take the exams for a Full-time job. That was back in the 1 job, 300 applicant days (like it's turned now).

Now it's three decades later, and I'm at retirement age, and wondering what the heck happened...LOL

It's not about correcting the problems down there. Why not discuss the matter and find out what the real root of the problem is so that others can take that information and use it to avoid the same problem the next time.
